Find out you're over budget in week three, not week nine.
RenovaTrack is a dashboard for homeowners renovating their own place: estimated vs. actual spend, contractor quotes side by side, milestones, progress photos and a supply list. It forecasts where the budget is heading, not just where it has been.

Renovations don't blow the budget on one big surprise.
- The permit came in $185 over. The beam ran $450 over. Each one felt small.
- I have three quotes in three formats and no idea which one is missing something.
- The spreadsheet says we're under budget, but the cabinets haven't even been ordered.
- Nobody is tracking when the inspector has to come before the drywall goes up.
- No accountNothing to sign up for. Open it and start.
- Stays on your deviceYour data lives in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
- Works offlineA basement with no signal is fine.
- Export any timeA JSON backup, or Print / Save as PDF for a status report. Export works even before you buy.
The math your spreadsheet gets wrong, done for you.
It opens with a realistic sample kitchen remodel so you can see every feature working immediately. One click deletes it. Unlimited projects, line items and quotes.

Budget: estimate vs. actual
Actuals are compared against the estimates for work that has actually been invoiced, plus what's left, to give a forecast at completion.

Quotes, compared within each trade
Price, timeline, warranty, license, insurance and references side by side. A bid 30% or more below its trade's median gets flagged.

Milestones that catch the slip
Permits, inspections and each trade's start date, with overdue work called out before the delay cascades.

Supplies, grouped by store
Every screw, shim and tube of caulk, sorted by where you buy it, with running totals.
Progress photos: your evidence trail. Photograph every wall before it closes up, for warranty claims, resale disclosure and finding the pipe you forgot about. Photos are resized automatically and stored on your own device.

Before you buy
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay $29 once and the app is yours: no renewal, no card on file, nothing to cancel. It runs on your device, so it keeps working whether or not we're still here.
What happens when the free trial ends if I don't buy?
The app becomes read-only. You keep seeing everything, and export keeps working. Your renovation records are never locked away from you.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, in your browser. There is no account and no server, and nothing is uploaded. Export a JSON copy any time, and do that before switching devices or clearing your browser.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, it is fully responsive. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen experience. Logging expenses and photos on site is the point.
Can my contractor use it too?
It is built for one person's device, so there is no shared login. Most people use the Print / Save as PDF export to share a clean status report with a contractor, spouse or lender.
Will it tell me what a kitchen should cost?
No. RenovaTrack tracks your numbers; it does not generate them. You enter your budget and your quotes, and it does the math that shows you where they are heading.
